How It Works

Upon receiving a trigger signal from an external control device (such as a voltage monitoring relay, fire alarm smoke detection system, or remote control), the ELT25 activates the emergency lighting contactor. The ‘ON’ and ‘FAULT’ indicator lights remain illuminated, signaling an emergency condition. Once the trigger signal ends, the contactor is deactivated, and the lighting system returns to normal mode, with the indicator lights turning off.

Users can choose between ‘TEST’ and ‘RESET’ modes using the key switch:

●  In TEST mode, the device performs a pre-set emergency lighting test (lasting 60, 90, or 120 minutes), keeping the ‘ON’ indicator lit.

●  The RESET function stops the test and returns the device to its normal state, turning off the indicator light.

Once the test duration expires or the RESET button is pressed, the system automatically returns to its inactive state, ensuring simple, on-site emergency lighting testing and smooth maintenance.
