How does the impulse relay work?

When applied to lighting systems:

▪ Energy saving control: When receiving a pulse signal, impulse relays will change their state to turn the lights on or off. Since they can maintain their original state after the state change, they can keep the lights on or off for a long time, thus reducing energy consumption.

▪ Central control: Managers can achieve central control by sending pulse signals to the impulse relays. These impulse relays can be integrated into a central control system, from which managers can control the switching status of all lights without having to directly touch the switch of each fixture.

▪ Multi-point control: In a multi-point control scenario, multiple impulse relays can be installed in different locations, such as different floors of a staircase or the ends of a long corridor. The user can send pulse signals from any of these locations to control the on/off state of the lights.

In electrical heating equipment:

▪ Precise control: By receiving pulse signals, impulse relays can control the switching on and off of electrical heating equipment. This makes it possible to control the state of the heating elements as precisely as required to maintain the desired temperature.

▪ Automation and Timed Operation: Integration of impulse relays with timers or intelligent control systems allows for automation and timed operation. Timers can send pulse signals to switch the heating unit on or off on a schedule, while intelligent control systems can automatically adjust the state of the heating unit according to preset conditions.

Compare to traditional switches, impulse relays provide a simple, more easy-to-install and cost-effective way to wire. You may want to be able to switch the light on and off at several points in a long corridor. Impulse switches only need two wires for each button instead of complex wire of traditional one.
